- Loving the journey -

" I fell in love from a distance quietly, prayerfully with a girl who didn’t even know.
She was full of life, laughter, and light. Her heart mirrored Christ’s: kind, selfless, and radiant. And I remember thinking to myself, “Lord, what a gift it would be to walk through life with someone like her.” That simple thought became a silent prayer and God, in His faithfulness, heard me.
Years passed. We never met, never crossed paths again until one day, unexpectedly, I saw her in a photo my friends shared from an outing I hadn’t even joined. And just like that, the memory of her came alive again. What I thought was just a moment… God had already marked it as part of a bigger plan.
But God had a perfect plan. When I was ready for this big step, He caused her to reappear in my life. This time, He revived the love, gave me the courage, and somewhere in 2024, laphuma ilanga ezintabeni nakweyami impilo. Its rays shone into my heart, bringing joy, peace, and a renewed sense of purpose centered on Christ.
She brought so much joy, love, and peace. I am truly home with her.
With Christ at the center of our story the true author of this journey, we’ve come to understand that no matter what life brings, as long as we stay anchored in Him, we will always find each other… and we will always be home in one another.

" I said Yes.
It was as if every moment leading up to that decision had been a quiet preparation, a puzzle with pieces I didn’t yet understand.
Before we even met, God had already begun the work - not in direct paths, but through the people in our lives. It’s funny how sometimes God takes us the long way around. I got to know his friends first, without ever knowing they were his. I laughed with them, shared moments and stories, not realizing the one who would change everything was already a part of my life… just behind the scenes.
But he knew. It was never a question of if, but when - when I would open my heart to see that he was the answer to prayers. Now, every day with him feels like a beautiful unfolding. A story that is still being written, one chapter at a time.
